Sun Life Financial, the first, oldest, and number one life insurance company in the Philippines, has now officially released to the public 1945, a digital film that shines the light on the value of love for the family.
1945 is the first of the five digital films being produced by Sun Life Financial, and based on a true story of a real Sun Life client and his family. It is the story of Enciong (portrayed by Richard Quan) and Puring (portrayed by Angel Aquino) of their love of each other and their two daughters, their grief and suffering during the war in 1945 and the role of Sun Life in bringing light, hope and security. The film lasts only for 8-minutes, but is full of emotions, so touching and powerful. Directed by Unitel's veteran-storyteller Jun Reyes, 1945 takes us down the memory lane to tackle a love that transcends time. It is a story of "immortalizing love" for our families!
1945 also shows how Sun Life amidst all the chaos honored all its obligations and commitments to policyholders. 1945 received hearwarming comments from elderly clients of Sun Life, who were survivors of World War II.
